ABOUT US

We are Mia and Michael Wickers. In May 2004 we started "Hungry Hounds", our dog and pet food delivery service, inspired by our first golden retriever "Scrummy".

Most of us have experienced the 'not enough hours in the day' scenario when the last thing we feel like doing is going out to buy and haul heavy pet food and supplies on behalf of your favourite hungry hound. Now you don't have to!

We offer a free local daily delivery service of most mainline pet foods and supplies to your home or office. I (Mia) take care of the administration duties and will be your first point of contact, whilst Michael is delivering your orders.

Nearly into our second year we have gained many new customers and also another two golden retrievers along the way!

NINE OAKS BEAUJANGLES
"Scrummy" born 17/07/2003 lives up to his name. He is the most fun loving dog and enjoys life to the full. His favourite pastimes are retrieving sticks from the sea and exuberantly greeting strangers! He sometimes gets me into trouble when in his enthusiasm he jumps up at people unexpectedly.

  
NINE OAKS ALL THAT JAZZ
"Hugo" born 01/09/2004 is Scrummy's brother. He has the only sensible name of the three dogs. He is very much a pipe and slippers dog. At the moment he is the dominant leader of the pack but a gentle giant with us.
 

NINE OAKS COURAGEOUS
"Teddy" born 02/06/2005 is Scrummy's and Hugo's nephew. Although he is the youngest he is already as big as the others. Joined at the hip with Hugo they play together all day long. He is the most independant and his favourite pastime is already established in chasing rabbits and squirrels.
